This Privacy Policy explains how DJ CZFBABY (a sole proprietorship based in New Jersey, USA, referred to here as “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit djczfbaby.com (the “Site”) or submit a booking request. We are the party responsible for your information (the data controller). Our data infrastructure is operated on our behalf by Lemmy’s Cloud Connect Solutions (d/b/a Lemmy’s Apothecary), acting as our service provider.

Information we collect

When you submit the booking request form, we collect the information you provide:

Your name
Your email address
Event details: event type, event date, event location, and requested hours

If your booking is accepted and you choose to pay a deposit, payment is processed by Square, Inc. on their hosted checkout. We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV, or bank details. Square handles that directly and is responsible for the security of your payment data. We receive only a confirmation and a transaction reference.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of your request for security and reliability. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking (see “Cookies” below).

How we use your information

To check availability for your requested date and respond to your booking request;
To contact you about your request, deposit, and confirmed event;
To create a calendar entry and maintain our internal booking records;
To process your deposit payment through Square;
To protect the Site against fraud, abuse, and security threats;
To comply with our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We will only send you marketing email if you separately ask us to; transactional emails about your own booking are not marketing.

Who we share it with (service providers)

We share information only with the service providers that operate the booking platform on our behalf, each of which is contractually bound to protect it:

Google LLC (Google Cloud Platform & Google Workspace): website hosting, database storage, calendar, our internal booking sheet, and email delivery.
Square, Inc.: deposit payment processing.
Lemmy’s Cloud Connect Solutions (d/b/a Lemmy’s Apothecary): manages our data infrastructure and IT operations as our service provider.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights. These providers are located in the United States, where your information is processed and stored.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies, so the Site does not display a cookie consent banner. The only cookie we set is a strictly necessary session cookie used to keep the private administrator dashboard logged in; it is not set for ordinary visitors and is never used to track you.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see your rights below).

How we protect it

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest through our cloud provider, access controls and a least-privilege service account, and secret management for credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including New Jersey under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, and residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you;
Correct inaccurate information;
Request deletion of your information;
Obtain a portable copy of your information;
Opt out of the sale of personal information or targeted advertising (we do neither).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at cloud@lemmysapothecary.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. You must be at least 18 years old to submit a booking request or enter into a contract with us. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date above.
